We are a specialist vascular ultrasound service that uses ultrasound to answer unsolved problems associated with people's arteries and veins. Your scan will be performed by a specialist sonographer on high quality equipment to ensure the highest diagnostic accuracy.

About our services:
Varicose vein ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the deep and superficial veins of the leg to determine if they are functioning correctly.
Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the deep veins (and some superficial veins) of the body to determine if there is a blood clot (DVT or superficial vein thrombosis) present.
Carotid artery ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the arteries in the neck to determine if there are any narrowings, blockages, or abnormalities.
Renal artery ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the arteries that supply, and are within, the kidneys to determine if there are any narrowings, blockages, or abnormalities.
Leg artery ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the arteries in the abdomen and leg to determine if there are any narrowings, blockages, or abnormalities.
Temporal and axillary artery ultrasound (for Giant-cell arteritis)
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the arteries on the temple area (temporal arteries) and the arteries of our arm to determine if arteritis (blood vessel inflammation) is present.
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the size of the arteries in the abdomen to determine if there are any widenings (such as an aneurysm).
Abdominal artery Doppler ultrasound (aorta and iliac arteries).
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the arteries and blood flow within the abdomen to determine if there are any widenings, narrowings, blockages, or other abnormalities.
Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR) surveillance ultrasound.
This examination looks at the arteries in the abdomen that have had previous treatment to determine if this repair is functioning correctly.
Mesenteric artery ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the arteries in the abdomen that supply the digestive system to determine if there are any widenings (such as an aneurysm), narrowings or blockages.
Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound and blood pressure cuffs to determine the blood supply to the feet.
Leg graft or stent surveillance ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the treated arteries in the leg to determine if there are any narrowings, blockages, or abnormalities.
Ovarian vein ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the veins in the abdomen to determine if they are functioning correctly.
Arm artery ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the arteries in the neck and arm to determine if there are any narrowings, blockages, or abnormalities.
Vein and artery mapping for cardiac bypass.
This examination uses ultrasound to identify suitable veins and/ or arteries for coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
Popliteal artery ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to look at the size of the arteries behind your knees to determine if there are any widenings (such as an aneurysm).
Pre-op vein marking.
This examination uses ultrasound and ink to mark key areas on the skin that helps guide a Doctor during a medical procedure.
Dialysis fistula ultrasound.
This examination uses ultrasound to either;
look at the arteries and veins of a person's arm to identify blood vessels suitable for formation of a dialysis fistula, or
look at a dialysis fistula to determine if there are any narrowings, blockages, or other abnormalities.
Vascular lump ultrasound (vascular malformation or iatrogenic injury).
This examination uses ultrasound in a targeted way to identify any abnormalities within the arteries and veins of a specific area of concern.
