We are a locally owned and operated specialist service that loves to use ultrasound to answer unsolved problems associated with people's blood vessels. Our equipment is high-quality and our specialist staff strive to ensure patient journeys are exceptional. Our goal is to empower our patients to be well informed so that they can make the right decision for them.
The only specialist vascular sonographer to reside in the Nelson Tasman region.
Nicole obtained a Diploma of Medical Ultrasound (DMU) specializing in vascular ultrasound in 2016 and has gained experience working in tertiary-level public hospitals and in private settings over the past decade.
Nicole is committed to ultrasound education and is a regular speaker at national and international conferences.
Nicole is also the chairperson for the New Zealand branch of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine, a founding member of the Vascular Ultrasound Society, and a published author of multiple vascular research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
Nicole recently won the Australasian Sonographers Association “New Zealand Sonographer of the Year” award in 2022.
